Anna Hochhalter:

„einen Satz aus dem Archiv, den ich mag und einen kurzen von mir:

BMC Bulletin 1952 (PUB-26)
These things are not provided in advance;
when they happen it´s because the individuals who are here create them.

Mein Satz:
Es ist ein Ort auf einer Bühne“

Yasmin Birkandan

Texts out of the archive are dispersing and assambling the college pictures at the same time. Referring to some special archive texts various experiments emerged within the two weeks.

I decided the show itself to be a starting point for my own poetic writing. This seemed to me the most direct way to work on the influences of my sourrounding.
I spent a lot of time copying my notes and texts from the archive at the photocopyer in the Marzona Collection. By chance a dog ear appeared at one page of my notebook. I decided to continue copiyng my foldings. What appeared, where rather systematic drawings than copies. They remind me of the works of Anni and Joseph Albers in the Mexico room, which I spent most of my time with.

I began to employ myself with the present circumstances . This included the to-read texts, books and the situations. My media were present copier and my camera .
I have also brought slides that emerged in the archives in North Carolina. They were showing: Photos of photos from the Black Mountain College , photographed from the files of the archive .
With the help of two slide projectors I also experimented with this in the museum situation.

worded tissues and missed threads

By relating to weaving-patterns and by using typewriter written texts I have been doing a short artistic research on the relationship of pattern, language and structure.
Text 1:     webfehler tipfehler webmuster (missed threads, weaving patterns)
Text 2:     webmuster webmaster (weaving patterns, webmaster)
Text 3:     welt weben welt web wert (world weaving world wide wealth)

In this context my interest content-wise was focused on the work and texts from Annie Albers and Richard Buckminster Fuller in the black mountain archive.
Moreover my photographic archive of invisible reproductive work was continued during the time in the museum.
